This publication educated me on the danger of meddling, incompetent editors. Without telling me, the night before publication, he changed the title to something boring, inserted math errors, and added extra words that I didn’t want. He thought he was improving it, but just made it worse. The opposite of what an editor should do.  Later on, I met a writer at Starbucks who knew him. She agreed that he’s a bumptious, bumbling fool of an editor. Beware of that type as you strive to publish your own work. Reserve the right to approve of the final copy.
